The Dragons Grand Council

Obviously, arriving late Friday night/Early Saturday Morning, I missed anything that happened on Friday. Although I did manage to get involved (peripherally) when a member of the Lions (whose name I didn't get) started singing.

The Council

  1. Lord Arcane had the meeting brought to order, and he and Lord Ash went through several points, including:-
  2. Jax was brought before the council to answer the charge of breaking his Exile, and deserting his post (which was apparently abord ship), He responded by stated that his wife had been raped by Owain Caradog, and he had broken his exile to inform the council of this, he was therefore allowed his freedpom until the spring council to allow him to gather his case, as long as he was accompanied by someone at all times, Drax was seconded to this task.

  3. Lord Arcane Showed his daughter to those assembled and promised to wet the babies head later.

  4. Fig was declared an ancestor which went down well with the assmbled dragons.

  5. The position of "Elder statesman of the Dragons" was created, and Lady Katrina, Owain Caradog and someone else were elevated to this honourary position.

  6. The Warleader of the Cymryain Dragons resigned, and therefore a position of Second to Locutus was created, and filled.

  7. Jax once more came before the council, as he was accused of threatening Member of the Lions Faction when they were under the protection of Lord Arcane. During the ensuing discussion, Jax Said that he was not a Dragon at least twice, and thus having declared himself, he was killed by the captain he had deserted, and Lord Arcane Bade the healers be still for a count of at least 5 minutes, before allowing them to heal him so he could be taken to the cells (after having his weapons removed)

The Trial

Prosecution Side

The Court was assembled.

12 members of those assembled (including my Apprentice) were selected to be members of the Jury
Four people were selected to be the judges, they were Lord Arcane, Lord Ash, King Gustav, and Morgan (selected by Galan deLacy).

The Charges were : That on the Sunday Night The Flames of Abraham did willfully murder the Wife of Galan deLacy, and furthermore that they did conspire with others in the arrangement of this deed, and finally they did kidnap her for the purposes of carrying out this deed.

The Prosecution called Dr. Helsing of the Flames of Abraham, who under questioning admitted that be Teutonian Law they (The Flames) had committed murder.

Due to various questionings it was established that The Flame had purchased a mirror of vampire enthrallment, which while Galan deLacy's wife said it had no effect, she nonetheless followed it "out of curiosity" thus it had the desired effect (even if for the wrong reason) of allowing them to kidnap her to a place where they could safely kill her.
