The Tribe

The Tribe are staunch allies of the Vipers, and great friends to the Deathbringers. They are followers of the Earth Goddess and spend their lives on the great Teutonian Plains, following the massive herds of bison. They are too free spirited to let themselves be tied to one place, and many is the man that has a hearth and home that has looked up from his labours and gazed longingly at their free lifestyle.

It is not without its hardships however: I have guested with them in midwinter on the plains and it is not an experience I wish to repeat:the cold was fearsome, and the snows such that we could not leave the tents for days at a time... which only meant that we celebrated the solstice all the harder, for lack of anything else to do! The Tribe always welcome visitors, and their hospitality is legendary. Please feel free to visit their home fires.

The Tribe always guest at Castle Utrecht when their wanderings bring them close to our city, and whenever that happens it is cause for great merriment. Whatever the time of year that they visit, it is always declared a public holiday by Count Subotai, and prodigious is the partying.
