Westwood Memorial Stables - Photo Backgrounds

*NEWS*  Cardstock backgrounds have been discontinued in favour of the more durable posters. The remaining stock are on sale, but there is a limited selection. A3 (Classic) cardstock backgrounds are now £2 each, A4 (Stablemate) are now £1 each, not including P&P. Please see my sales page for further details.

Following recent requests, there are two new sizes availiable for backgrounds - Diorama and Traditional. These size backgrounds are done to order and are printed on high quality poster paper (not matt card like the A3 and A4 in-house produced backgrounds). See below for pricing. Please remember that the technology used for prints over A3 size increases the cost of production! :)

The pictures for these backgrounds were all taken by me, following the frustration of not being able to find suitable or sympathetic backgrounds to take photographs of my models. The pictures are of various places here in the UK.

Pricing
Stablemate - background printed onto high-quality poster paper £5.00 each - suitable for stablemate scale
(210 x 297mm, 8.3 x 11.7 inches, roughly A4)

Classic - background printed onto high-quality poster paper £10.00 each - suitable for classic/small traditional scale
(297 x 420mm, 11.7 x 16.5 inches, roughly A3)

Traditional - background printed onto high-quality poster paper £20.00 each - suitable for traditional scale or small dioramas
(18x24 inches, a shade larger than A2)

Diorama - background printed onto high-quality poster paper £30.00 each - suitable for larger scale dioramas, these are stunning.
(24x36 inches, a bit larger than A1)

CD - Any background on CD in JPG format for you to print out. £5.00 for the first background and £1 for any additional backgrounds to a limit of 6 backgrounds total.

A note on copyright - You are purchasing these backgrounds for your sole use, and by buying a background I am allowing you to use it to enhance the photos you take of *your* models. In the case of background files/CD files, by buying the files I give you permission to print the backgrounds you purchased and to use these backgrounds to enhance the photos you take of *your* models. You are not allowed to copy or print backgrounds (or the image files) out and sell them on, neither are you allowed to change the image/file in any way. If you should find that you will use the background in a way not intended please contact me asap for permission at Catherine@mage.co.uk. I will most likely say yes. :) Thankyou for your consideration. :)

All sizes are approximate and the actual print size on A4 and A3 backgrounds are slightly smaller than the paper size. :) Paper backgrounds are shipped in postal tubes. P&P is fixed at £3.50, regardless of how many backgrounds/CDs you want.
Please ask if you are overseas and need international shipping, this may cost slightly more due to the recent changes to the UK Postal system charges.

I accept cheques, POs, cash (sent at your own risk) and PayPal (providing you pay for any fees). I may accept trades instead, don't be afraid to ask. :)
If you are an international customer I accept PayPal in £GBP (same conditionas as above). I may consider cash ($, etc) but please ask first.

If you would like a particular background for your exclusive use then please get in touch, though I must point out that some of these backgrounds are already in circulation.
